How The Hoosier Truck Club Formed!

For Years the Midwest and Indiana in particular have been know to be
the Mecca of tractor and truck pulling. Every summer there can be
heard the sound of big block pulling truck screaming down the track or
monster turbo tractors whistling in the night. Now years later the
diesel performance world is starting to take hold in the Midwest.
Farmers are starting to take notice on how they can modify their daily
work trucks to be competitive in these pulls. This growing passion for
Diesel Power has led some of these owners to get together and meet
with other Diesel truck owners and see what they have done to their
trucks and compare their homemade power. Over a few years these
meetings grew into an organized event called "Hoosier Black Out".
"Hoosier Blackout" started three years ago with the first Dyno Day in
Noblesville Indiana at a small performance shop with a dyno. We were
fortunate to have trucks run on the dyno all day and lots of people
come to watch this truck run all out to see what kind of power they
could put down. We soon realized that this event was taking off and
out grew the small performance shop and was moved to a larger venue in
Danville Indiana. Danville Performance was chosen due to the fact that
they were the first shop to put a Duramax over the 1000hp mark and for
their large and accommodating area for all the diesel enthusiast. This Dyno Day was better and bigger than anyone of us could have dreamed.
With over 30 truck running over the dyno in 12 hours and more than 200
trucks and drivers coming to watch the displayed power. Truck owners
drove from all surrounding states such as Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky,
and Illinois to take part in a great event.
As this event grew, and the number of trucks increased, we realized it was time to get all these trucks and their owners in one place to talk about their truck, talk to other owners and enjoy the events in an atmosphere that was conducive to everyone. This new idea for a unified truck club has brought about the need to let all truck owners, no matter what make, model or goal for the truck, or fuel were here to band together in one place. This is were Hoosier Truck Club was born. Our site give all owners of trucks the chance to seek advice and meet with other truck owners in our area, and talk about motorsports. We hope this site gives everyone the chance to meet new friends and enjoy our vehicles we love so much!

Hoosier Truck Club is Open to all types of trucks!  From 1/4 tons to Jeeps and Suv's and to the Big Rigs! Gas, Diesel, LP, E85 fuels all Welcome!
